Screen Info: Fused LCD or Glass/Digitizer Only?
Together, we can diagnose most issues and we are usually able to provide the fix needed.

Touch problem, you need a new Glass/digitizer which registers touch.
Display problem, you need a new LCD which displays the image.
Battery/ Charge port problem, we will test the amperage and battery to find out!

1) Glass/Digitizer
Separate part from the LCD... "Glass only"
Less expensive than LCD screen repair as the LCD is the most expensive component of a screen.
2) LCD Only
Just the LCD. Not much else to explain! See the pic above.
Notice the pic, there is no glass. The LCD is what displays the picture.
3) LCD Screens
Glass/Digitizer is fused to the LCD as one part.
Notice the pic, compare it to the LCD only pic. There is no glass/ digitizer on the LCD only part.
*A refurbisher is able to separate the LCD from the glass.
All tablets follow the same concept of fused or non fused.
Screen Quality:
Short and Sweet. Avoid basic aftermarket at all costs!
Aftermarket
(Better than the avg AM part)
There is a wide array of aftermarket parts.
Although our suppliers supposedly deal with the more reliable ones, we don't even bother dealing with these. We prefer the best AM products available and take it to the next step by using the the "Premium Aftermarket" screens & parts such as the FX5 or X07. Occasionally, we may use reputable AM brands (Mentioning this "standard" for context only)
Typically, AM digis are missing a dust seal on top on the copper which helps create a protective barrier from dust getting in underneath the glass. That is just one possible flaw. Performance will not be as good as the other two options.
FX5/X07 Glass/Digitizers
(100% Premium Aftermarket)
FX5 & X07 Digitizers use high-quality materials and no small details are skipped.
They offer better bracket alignment, pre-installed home button spacers, pre- installed tesa tape (the best tape) and premium quality glass. They also come with foam dust seals, unlike many aftermarket ones.
These offer the best bang for your buck & are what I stock for Glass/Digitizers.

iPad & Tablet Batteries:
So far, iPad batteries can be replaced by 3rd party repair shops with no negative side effects... so that's good!
Other tablets batteries can be replaced without negative side effects.
Keep in mind that it is MUCH easier for all parties to install a new battery along with a new screen. A new battery alone requires the same if not more work as a new screen install does. Especially true for iPad Pros & Surface Pros since they have LCD screens which is a much more expensive part.
